Wierd glitch in map

Post by matt_moh »

I have an odd problem with my map. When I ran it , there was a wierd horizontal plane stretching across the whole map made up of white lines and grey shades. It was one flat surface that was only visible if you looked at it from one side. Any one know what's causing this?

Maybe is this:

Suppose you have 2 walls, one on top of the other. The 2 sides that are touching themselfs (the top side of the wall below and the bottom side of the wall above) should be NODRAW.

This worked with me.

Hope with you.

Ladders and rails

Post by tltrude »

That is caused by having too many brushes of the same size touching a single brush. Like a long ladder with two rails and a lot of rungs that are the same size as the rails. Or, a long balcony railling with posts touching it. Just make rungs thinner than the rails or the posts thinner than the railings.
