Help with .urc's

Okay, so it's kinda scripting but not really...Right now I'm making a .urc that works with the MAM files. A few of the current commands look like:

rcon set command "sayi \qHello Everyone\q"

I was wondering, if I have a text box on the menu, and they enter the text..How could I attach these ...

I dunno about a ladder, but you could spawn a trigger that will bring you up to the top of the tree or move you up inch by inch and use the climbing animation...I'm not good with this stuff, but just an idea.

the kill command will bring up something in the messages(+ it will kill you) 'ThisGuy took himself out of commission.' kill is the suicide command.

By the way, windows has a problem with .scr files. It thinks they're screensavers. To change this(so you can doubleclick to open), if you have windows xp, open any folder. Click Tools>Folder Options>File Types. Here click new extension and fill it out. Then choose your preferred text editor. Enjoy ...

Add 'user-' in the front of the filename, without quotes.

Example:

minepack.pk3

becomes

user-mypack.pk3

see?

LoL. Thanks, that cleared everything up. I have a few more questions. Is it possible to change the amount of light in a level through scripting? Like make it cloudier or something like that? Also, whats the model for fire?

Thanks for the idea but I don't think so. bdbodger is a more experienced scripter than I am and he's having trouble figuring out what's wrong. I doubt it's a spelling error since atleast two people have looked at the current script and found no spelling errors.

Okay, I think I did everything you suggested and I understood most of it. This is my script so far but it still doesn't work.
