Hey Random

Yeah, I have been mapping awhile and never seen this one before. It is coming up right at the end of the .bsp part of the compile. No other info as a clue as far as brush number or anything. The map has little or no CSG subtracting for the reason you mentioned, lol. Hmm......... :cry:

Hey guys,

Got this error last time I compiled-- MAX_ORIGINAL_EDGES and can't get a .bsp file now. Anyone know what this little beauty means and how I kill it? Much oblige

Well, to completely uninstall Radiant since it isn't listed in the add/remove list in the control panel, you will have to edit the registry. Otherwise, all the preferences,etc will still be there if you do a new install. First move the entire Mohaa Tools folder (contains Radiant.exe) to the Recycle ...

Well, it took a fresh install of Radiant (don't forget about taking the Radiant key out of that registry or it won't work!!), but finally everything is showing up again. :D

Hey guys,

I had the same trouble and the load vs open thing worked for me as well. Any ideas on why it is doing this and how to fix it? It is a pain to load the map this way as it takes like 5 times as long, lol. Thanks, Goat

Sure man, it is on it's way. I will only include the assassinate part as the script is huge. It also has elevators, gondolas, trucks, stuff that you don't need. Cool?

Weapon Priorities

Hey JV

I have a bot in a map that I want unarmed. In the AI paramaters window, I set his weapon as none but in the objective match game he spawns with a SMG. Would I set all his weapon priorities to 0 like you mentioned in the bot manual or is there an easier way to do this? Thank you and thanks ...

Thanks Nuggets!!!! I did the changes you suggested. It printed the 'is he dead' but still didn't finish. I then took out the whole 'isalive $leader 'section and just had teamwin allies for that section and now it works. Much oblige, Goat

Multiplayer assassinate script

Hey guys,

I am almost finished a multiplayer map where the Allied object is to kill an Axis officer. When I load the map, I can kill the officer but the map does not finish. In the console I am getting a Null listener error on the waittill death line. Here is part of the script, what am I missing ...

In the entity window (press n when your mg42 is selected) enter this key/value combo

Key: maxyawoffset
Value: 70

The value you could change to anything you want. This means it will swing 70 degrees to either side off it's axis. This amount seems to work fine.

Hey guys

I have a gunner in my maps. In my script, I had the $mg42 thread global/mg42_active.scr::mg42 in between waittill prespawn and spawn. Mine works fine with it there. Try that. Also, make sure your AI gunner is labeled as a machinegunner in the AI parameter window (press I ).
