hitp suicide bomber

Been making a suicide bomber for hitp, because them japs are sick guys.

Sit him in the bushes and wait for the kill, he can easily blow a small group of allied soldier to pieces.

I have 98% finished him, so heres a few pics.

FT in hitp

I've been told there is a ft in hitp, but i can't seem to find it in the game anywhere.

Anyone know if there is one & where it can be found, or is it in 2.0 which is not out yet?

making projectiles set players on fire

Heard that a few peeps have got players to set on fire using there flamethrowers, Does anyone know how this is done.

It could probably work like senns fire death (for m6l3c) but it would have to be attached to my projectile.

Any ideas would be useful.

You dont have to stress your self, because I am close to a solution, i have been working with another person and we have gotten the files needed for the shootable flak...just need to find the time to sort everything out :wink:

The 88shell is only for static, so is facing in the wrong direction in the skd.
so heres what is used in singleplayer.

In the flak88turret.tik change the two lines below in red to the ones in green.

projectile models/projectiles/flak88shell.tik

dmprojectile models/projectiles/flak88shell.tik ...

you want the,

accurate crossair
longer fire-delay
different projectile model.


What model? must be from the game.

I'll have a play about with it, see what i come up with when i've got 10 mins spare. :roll:

Make a folder called models , then make another folder inside it called Projectiles

Copy this to notepad:

TIKI
setup
{
scale 1.0 // Needs to be unnaturally large so it is visible
lod_scale 30
path models/ammo/bazooka_shell
skelmodel projectile_bazooka.skd
surface bazookashell shader ...

Change the folder name to STITCH, because i've had alot of problems when using mine/mines in folder names, shaders & loading screens. :?

Then use this script for your shader & when you add another texture just repeat & change the red to what it should be.

Is there anyway of spawning a Info_player_allied/axis into a map.

I would like to add somes spawns to a compiled map. I can do it threw the bsp, but this involves removing something to add something.

Is it possible to spawn them before the prespawn maybe like the way you would with a mg42, crate ...
