Guys you have been a great source of info for me , thank you 1 and all. Now for my next question is it possible to have an ai bot spawn in a random position but stay there. So rather than it stay where i place it on the the map, is it possible for it to spawn in a certain radius of its start point ...

Hi, Does anybody have or know where i might be able to download stock maps for editing. I have decompiled them myself and opened them in radient, but i cant get them to work again, they dont create there own .bsp file when i save them with a different name (other than obj team1). So i was just ...

what files need to go where?, do i need a pk3 file? if so how do you do it, then when everything is in place how do you set up the game to play the single player maps?

ive taken out the offending things, but with the door i have noticed that from the axis side i cannot shoot through them but the bots can?

Doors that aren't solid

I seem to have a problem with being shot through the door and my targets on my map all of wich are supposed to be solid, also i can walk through my crane and the cable drums, CAN anybody help me.

well guys i dont how this got solved but i was poking around with the bots and added a pathnode and hey preston on came the sound, really weird considering i have had nodes in the map before but with no sound, anyway thanks for the help. I told you i past all help!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes the sound effects sre turned up and my speakers are on the map is called test_proper.map and the bsp file is where it is supposed to be. Also whilst people are trying to help me (which may be impossible) since renaming the map to test i now have this come up in console which wasnt there before ...
