that non-shader option did it, however, within mradiant it just looks like a non-texture or white, and when i test the map it looks like a non-textured item would. To answer the the other question, yes i believe the the files paths are correct and yes the files are accesible to mraidiant

getting custom textures to work

hello, i can't get custom textures to come up in mradiant. I'v followed Nemisis's tut and nothing, it's probably some stupid mistake.

the only thing i have'nt done is make the picture 256x256, does this matter?

ok, so i'v proved myself wrong (which is a good thing), ty all for your help

I'v got a new question, how come there's no sound in the lvl? like walking sounds or like the sound of a gun when i try to fire it?

ok, i did try some different textures and it worked fine (which i'v tried before with no success ), so now i know that all of my settings are right, i bet that when i try some different textures it won't work again

ok, the only pk3 files i have in my main-dir are pak0.pk3 up to pak6.pk3 and entdefs.pk3., and i don't think i used any of those shader things...i set sunshader to "none" in the worldspawn panel

i do not have any custom pk3's in my main folder, i have just done a clean install of moh. and secondly...where do i search for "matchtoken"? (i guess not in the windows search tool, lol)

no SH is not installed...and i did everything exactly how i was supposed too(according to that site)...and i got the same error

o, and btw, i have a clean install of Moh, it can't find the .bsp because it does'nt exist (why is this, what's the problem)...clarify something for me, where EXACTLY are all three (game directory, compiler directory, Map source directory) supposed to be set to?
