A lot of things can go wrong here!!!

It is handy to go thriugh your console log-file and see
were the loading proces is being aborted!

Did you enterd a light source in your map?
Is the info_player not touching a brush?


PS. Load map, let it crash and look for the qconsole.log in your
mohaa ...

Help! Texture getting weird!

Hi m8's,

I textured a brush with grass.
After the compile the texture looks realy weird. (see pic)

Does anyone knows what causes it??

Yep that's what I mean.

Often it is real handy to do things while talking (typing) realtime!

I do this sometime now with a few people and we're learning very fast!!

So that's the idea.

Well,

I opened the game. Made a change in script with editscript and saved.
So I found out that the script file it uses is in mainta.

After I did some scripting in windows and saved it in mainta,
the game automatic deletes all changes and start with a blank original .scr again.

hmmmm.. not working for now!

I did what you said but it is still using a different script!
When I type editscript in my console, I see the the same script but
there is one extra line. So it looks as the mohdm3.scr but
looks like it get it somewhere else!?!?!

Yep,

I understand. But I want to have mooded stockmaps running on our server. I don't want people to download the custom pk3's.

So I need the modded .scr just on our server!

Scripting a stock map

hi,

I'm doing a rescript on the Remagen map. And there must be something
I'm doing wrong......
The map is not using my script at all.
This is what I did (to try):

opened the pak5.pk3/maps/dm/mohdm3.scr
added the fog thread and saved it in the pak5.pk3.

opened spearhead and...... no fog!
