I did the tut for locakable doors and got a CTD with this message when I tried to open the door before unlocking it. The only other thing related that I found was for an elevator.
Any ideas?

SP multiple objectives
Wanted to blow up a bunch of tanks as an objective in a SP map. I haven't seen any tuts on it - anyone know of a topic or tut to deal with this (including finding the bombs/explosives)? On top of that, I wanted another objective (assasination) after the tanks are destroyed.

Just as a test, I took out the "thread movedown" out of the equation and now the elevator moves up to each of the 5 floors.
What I want to happen is if I am on floor 2, I want the option of going to floor 3 or 1 (etc for the other floors). Now that I took the movedown out, I can't get back down a ...

Followed the instructions for the multiple floor elevator, but once in game the elevator goes to the second floor and back to the first floor without stopping. I named all my stuff according to the tut. Here is the script:
main:
exec global/ai.scr
exec global/cardgame.scr
exec global/door ...

level.elepos
I am trying to have 2 elevators in a SP map (One multiple floor and one 2 floor). I am not very good at scripting, so I rely heavily on the tuts and have been using Erick's elevator tut.
I noticed that for both the multiple floor and 2 floor tutorials the scripting shows this:
level.elepos = x ...

What are some good maps with bots, new mods etc.
Too many posts since last visit to go through all of them.
Any help is appreciated.

MOH: PA DVD vs CD
Walking around Walmart and noticed that PA has a regular version and a DVD version.
Is there any difference other than one uses a DVD player instead of CD?
*EDIT: or anywhere I can read on it?

re-opening an old topic
Which line above is the proper method for a precache.scr?PsychoE wrote:1.cache models/static/hedgehog.tik
2.cache models/static/hedgehog/hedgehog.tik
If i use #1, all my models disappear. If I use #2, they are all there, but I think the console is stating an error (will confirm later)
