Hey,
we have the map rockbound on our public spearhead server: (84.244.130.183:12203)
and i must say: GREAT MAP !!!!!!!

congratuletions Pantera.

but 1 question.

the axis planted the bomb, and the allies killed al axis: allies win.

allies didn't have to defuse the bomb... is this normal?

Hey,

Me and my clan, have a public spearhead server.
and now we are looking for any good custom maps to put on.

we prefer not to big maps, cause its only a 16 slots server.

any suggestions?

Maps with good FPS offcourse...

so i have an other problem, i have a wall, with a door, and give it a wall textures, but, when i press CTRL F, to fit it, it changes the texture in 3 textures, 2 next the door, and 1 above...

how can i make it look ...

i probably will go for the clip solution, cause their is still a destroyed 88 after the explosion.
but that global/obj_dm.scr, where can i find that?
i didn't create that, I think, or am I wrong?

I am still new in mapping and scripting...

Hi, i created a flak88 bomb, with this tut: http://users.1st.net/kimberly/Tutorial/obj.htm

and everything works fine.

but, you can run thru the bomb...

how can i fix it?
put a box around with metalclip or something?

how do i test obj map?

Hey,

i build a explodable 88, and would like to test it.

i compiled the map.
I placed the .bsp in my mainta/maps/obj.

but when i try to run the map, and choose obective, i cannot selected it...
i can play it as deathmatch or free for all... but then i cannot test if the bomb works...

and where ...

The important part of the red line is where it ends out in the void. Your skybox must be sealed and have no cracks for the red line to go through.

The red line ends just out of my skybox...
so i must assume that my skybox has a crack?
but, i don't think so, i already remaked it.

my skybox exists ...

ok, i have skybox, and in that i have a house.
the house has for the moment no windows or doors in the walls around.
so its also a closed box.
i do a pointfile, no problem.

i create an opening in the wall to make a door to go outside.
do pointfile, i suddenly have a leak ?????????

whats wrong ...

Hi,

I have a problem.

I builded 1 big room, compile, nothing wrong.
Builded a second room next to the first, compile, nothing wrong.

Then i created an opening between both rooms, compile -> next error:

Loadportals: couldn't read F:EAgames\mohaa\mainta\maps\test_trap1.prt

???

like neil said, it's probably too many loaded textures. This happened to me a lot, try hitting the U key now and then to clear off the textures.
The problem seems to be solved with the entdefs.pk3.

Sorry, i am here again, again with my doorproblems :lol:

They just wont open in the direction i want them to open...

Do you have to select something with the angle...

i tested alwaysaway 1, alwaysaway 0, they just dont open like i want it...

i think its something with the angle...

How do you flip it?

Another problem, i made 4 doors, in te same way, but 2 doors only open in 1 direction, the other 2 in the direction to where the player is going.
I want all 4 doors work als the last, what have done wrong with the first 2 doors ??

the texture honourcourt_door shows a double door,

now, i created 2 rotatingdoors next to each other,
then i give them the texture, but, it shows 2 times the texture, and all I want is that texture split up... do you understand a bit?

How can i make a double door from that texture?
