i got it working just using
local.dude = parm.other
but now when the health would go below zero, game crashes because of that
and saying
error command overflow: possible infinite loop.

That would make sense if the texture didn't work for all brushes. But it works for them all except this one. When i deleted this one, the one adjacent to it began the same problem, even when i changed the texture.
So I suppose its not really a texture problem, but the brush is on normal grid size 8 ...

weird texture glitch
I've made some brushes and get this weird glitch in game, it disappears and connects a bunch of grey and white squares to screen, its not the texture because its used in other places and works fine. I've remade the brush many times, deleted it only ot have the next one do the same thing
