Hi, got hold of your `rescue` map, very impressive it must have taken you a long time! So much custom content. The thing is, Im not a great scripter: dm I can do, and basic explosives tutorials of objective maps I have implemented and got working. I looked over the script but Im afraid its beyond me ...

thanks for the replies, are the maps you mentioned for Spearhead, or Allied Assault? I map in allied assault you see. Bdbodger could you elaborate a little as to how you managed it, activateing the ai, the ai being leashed to you, and then you dropping him off at a rescue area?

Is it possible to make a `rescue` objective in multiplayer mode? Where, for example the allies have to reach an ai character, and then lead him back to safety?

Hi all, Id like to trigger the message above, in an OBJ map I?m working on.
I?ve had a look at the stock map `the hunt` and couldn?t see a trigger that an allied player would run through. I then had a look through the scr file from `hunt`, notably the `almost_there1`section. I?m lost. Is the message ...

Limit Certain Weapons Via .Scr File?

Is it possible to do this? Ive searched the forums here, to no avail.
I googled it my query, and the only possible fix is a server side mod. Is there a way of prohibiting the number of sniper rifles via .scr file?

At the moment Im resorting to explosive outbursts followed by weary resignation

I made the classic mistake of not designing the map on
paper first, and thus didnt take into account the way MOHAA likes things to run.

Consequently, the map is kind of a messy sprawl, and a final compile may be out of the question. I know now, if I ever ...

Final Compile

Any advice on the best compile options? Im aiming to finish the map Im working on in a few weeks
Im currently using these:

bsp

-v

vis options

-fast -v

light options

-verbose -fast -bounce 0

I picked these up from the forums here. Are they just for testing purposes, and will they suffice for ...

Thanks Tom Trude for the speedy response!!

Before I posted, I tried to get the cable car moving by making it all one big func_door and setting the angle to 1.
IN game, when I tried to start the car, I crashed out to the MOHHA
main menu. in the console was the error message:
