hey bdbodger,

medic is one of my jr modders, this is all new to him. when he ran into this problem i had him remove radiant completely and reinstall. when he goes to load radiant for the first time, all appears fine until he gets an error this is before the pref and opt screens come up.

Thank you so much! It works perfectly! the whole idea behind this was to limit the time on omaha beach, that the axis spent in the pillbox's and this is simulating allies planting explosives in there for them hehehe...thanks again, i really appreciate it!

what exactly is it saying for means of death??? because when i had my problem it was always saying, was blown away by.

i figured out that the problem was not the localization but my weapons mod. i had changed the meansofdeath in the weapons mod for each weapon from bullet to explosion. this makes ...

thanks tltrude i am acutally using your script in another part of the map...i had set the delay but the boxes werent exploding after 30 secs, i did change the set size but had to take out the spawn flags and health to get them to explode when the player is near, i think im close but hte delay just ...

delayed trigger

hey guys, im looking to create a trigger with a delay so that when a player enters an area after 30 seconds the visible explosive boxes explode thus killing the player and all around him....

able to spawn the trigger but not sure how to delay it and create the explosion any ideas?

lol, ive been asking the same question lol...it would in a sense however ive found not to many people are downloading the custom maps anymore i could be wrong, and im sorry if i am. but the reasoning ive heard from people is that they are tired of it and just want to hop on and play, lazy if you ask ...

to a degree yes, what i mean is, if you jump on top of the sandbag or in the back of the truck there is minor shaking, very minor and your gun does go into 1st person view, however you do not sink and are still able to shoot targets

hope that made sense lol

Everyone Please READ!!! Modding at a new level??????

hello everyone,

this is an issue that im sure has plagued everyone from one time to the next....spawning objects and either walking through them or the clip takes the containing box size. big problem and looks sloppy

i have been searching for ways to overcome this and still keep the maps server ...

great thank you for the advice, i will check out the tut maps,

so in there i should find some way of having a light turn on and blink, by using the same switch controlling the door?

If that doesn't fix the problem, the .wav file isn't valid. It should be 16 bit, mono and 11, 22 or 44 kHz.

thanks tltrude,

it worked when i did the above, but didnt work when i replaced the light sound with my wav.

im wondering... the wav file was originally an mp3, converted to wav. could that be the problem?

obviously something is not right with my wav file unless there is another problem

big time saver prefab everything and anything you do that you may need later on ie: staircases, ladders, special windows etc...

simply select all the brushes in your ladder for example and hit file, save to prefab, and name it and save it! you may want to create a folder for them
