How Do You Create Premade Objects?
I'd like to be able to create "premade" objects I can just drop in with ALL of the settings including keys (and values) already pre-defined by myself. I would just "import" them everytime I needed a specific object. My first guess is that a "prefab" is the way to go. However, I don't understand ...

How Do You Create Trap Doors?
When you create a rotating door, you cannot (least as far as I know, create a door that opens downwards in motion. So, the door would open through the floor. Rotating doors only allow for ration on the Z axis far as I know, is this true? Can you make a door that opens on the Y axis? I created a door ...

Although I'm not completely satisified with the results, it does work! Thanks. I want to do some more research, and with the help of these source maps I have, I can look into how to make the maps I creare more realistic. That's what I'm going for here. (sn) Did you ever noticed how the lighting on ...

Why Does Light "seep" Through My Walls?
Yet another problem I'm attemping to overcome. Why light is actually passing under my walls I've built. When you divide a room into two sections, is it necessary to actually culk completely the way through. In other words the walls I've currently created are brushes residing inside the room making ...

Frustrating: Uneven Light Across Multiple Brushes!
I simply don't know what to do about this. Take a look at this picture, which will tell the whole story . . .

How about grouping the let's say 4 brushes after constructing the window manually? If I texture them individually, they will look "weird" so-to-speak. How can I "group" them together to create an even looking wall even though it's really multiple brushes. Ideas?

How Do You Create Windows In Radiant?
I want to "cut out" windows in instead of creating 4 brushes around the window. How can I do this? If you can't "cut out" the window, is it possible to "group" the pieces together to act as one brush? This seems possible although I don't know the button to push to make this happen.

The answer to my question was that 16 units does equal 1 foot after pressing "1" to enable the most detail on the grid. My procedure is measure in inches, so let's say 86. Then I devide by 12 to get the feet and then multiply by 16 to find out how many units. Primitive, but it works. Thanks for your ...

How Many "units" Make Up One Foot?
When you're drawing on MOH Radiant, what is a sqaure equal to? I'm referring to the smallest sqaures. These sqaures only appear when you have pressed "1" and are zoomed in very close. The graph numbers (such as 64, 128, etc.) do not seem to corespond to these numbers. In a nother post it says "16 ...
