Is there a way to script in messages to pop up and say that the bomb has exploded and msg for each document to let players know which docs have been stolen?

I have seen scripts using methods to do this, but the scripting is different from this tut.

I saw the tut on these and had some questions so i have been talking to the creator of the tuts personally. He asked me to post a few questions i had along with the responses for others to see to help others who may have the same questions.

I know you get this error from not having an enclosed map. I have noticed that compile times is dramitically reduced when you don't enclose the map.

Is it okay to leave like this? Any advantages or disadvantages???


Right now the way the map is i have anywhere from 150fps to 410fps depending ...

Is it possible to script a light switch to turn lights off and on?

Anyone know how to work around routers. Seems my router is why i cannot have peers directly connect to me for gaming. Are there ports to work with? That i need to open?

I did try Nemesis....are you supposed to be able to set the bomb? I see the AI soldier next to the gun, but cannot set the timer.

Thx for the tips....But i only used textures that were in radiant for use in AA maps. Didn't make any on my own.

Desperate plea for help

Can someone make a simple enclosed map with a flak cannon with a working timer that will explode.

I have treid several attempts to follow different tuts and none work. It makes it even harder when i cannot test these with others to see if they work.

Players see errors i don't

Just curious as to why some players will see error on my map that i don't

For example a texture i used for some towers and windows.

I see absolutely no error, but other players( not all players) say they can see the texture on the towers switch to neon colors, and yellow squares where the windows ...

Hmmmmm, so what causes an end section of a textured brush to fade into black?
