Lighting can really jack up the compile time if its detailed lighting. I haven't used mbuilder in so long I forget what actually happens but I remember that trying to compile with detailed lights made it take forever.

@Soldier of Ra: Because the golden age of mohaa has past, look at filefront (mohfiles.com) and you can usually find everything you want.

Another thing, (if you didn't know already), make your textures tileable/seamless if they are a wall, floor, ceiling, etc. Here is a tutorial on seamless textures.

I haven't really done any modding for AA since I got Battlefield 2 for Xmas. BF2, i would have to say has more modding capabilities than AA and is more realistic. I like modding for BF2 because lots more things are possible that can't be done in AA. Games get old and ...

Did you delete your config or something?

That happened to me a few times when I forgot a playerstart. It also looks as if you have a few textures missing.

You could try that but I don't have anymore problems with Vista (havent tried mbuilder). You could try a new compiler such as BdBodgers (don't know a link at the moment).
ps @Bd I never got that to work. I got a corrupt file error.

Haha, I tried the demo of Airborne and I was shocked! The aim business was garbage. I don't know how people can play that game. Mod tools would have been good...

Make a brush and put it over your whole map. Then go "select-complete tall"
And there you have it radiant crashes. Just kidding, but when your whole map is selected you have to move it extremely slow or radiant will crash. Save your map before trying this!

Instead of giving the trigger a setthread just give it a targetname.

main:

level waittill spawn
thread elevator1
end

elevator1:

while(1)
{
$mytrigger waittill trigger

//Do stuff here

}
end


The while(1) is so the thing loops and can be used multiple times. Its much cleaner than the "goto ...
