We posted about why it was free a few months ago the company who made it were contracted by ID seemingly it wasnt working out.
They had some excellent ideas for SP (control a team of 4 with WASD and mouse only no extra keys)

Im gonna guess you just needed to post somfin to fill a few minutes because its the only way this post makes sense in any way.
To say ID (creators of all things lovely in terms of mapping) ripped off people who made maps for their game is just insane.

The people who made those maps would more than ...

Balr14 (mapping correctly)
Crowking (skinning and server stuff)
Dogmeat (server stuff)
Scorpio (scripting cool stuff)

Stuff they doing last year people only getting their heads around now.

Dont Upgrade its a bad idea ,best to get the full version and do a format and complete reinstall.
Make sure you have all drivers needed for your hardware (XP versions)
All files and stuff you like is moved tyo a seperate partition or Burnt to a CD.
Then format and reinstall.

WIN 98 is perfect for games has nothing running background unlike W2k and XP.

Reinstall windows messing with registry when you dont know what you doing can be bad really bad.
Just do a complete reinstall and it be fine.

Sorry you lost me why would client have to do something?
Editing the EXE and the systemta.DLL will allow the game to run from a different Dir.
Exe installers are easy to use (basically a zip file with autorun)

I assume you have edited the cracked EXE to run from a diff DIR.
Just take note that you cant release any working Spearhead files to someone who does not own Spearhead.

Shouldnt take you too long to figure out to get by that

Import a model from SH ,if you can see it in MOHrad you have the new version if it shows up as a Box its the old verison.
