I had your same problem a while back, the Look ahead actually has nothing to do with your vision distance pertaining to the camera...there is a button in MOHRadiant, it is labeled "Cubic Clip the Camera View" If you turn it off the camera will have a very large view range, and you can set your look ...

Only do final lighting when you have EVERYTHING perfect and are ready to distribute the map. It makes the lighting look a little cleaner. when you are testing maps ALWAYS do the -fast setting for ANY lighting.
It usually takes a 2-4 hours for a good sized map to compile final, at least on my rig.

this error could come back to bite you in the butt even though it is working now, be careful. I don't know what a "duplicate plane" is, but there sure is a lot of them there and I've never gotten them.

make sure your file name doesn't have a space in it, I know it sounds stupid but...I cant tell ...

this is a common random error and doesn't really mean anything....
Ok, let me rephrase that, we don't know what it actually does, but it is caused when you copy/paste lights or doors. It shouldn't affect anything in your map, just ignore it.

you'll have to be very specific about the script I need and the steps because I know absolutely NOTHING about scripting at this point, i'm naturally horrible with it. So far I understand how to set up the trigger and object, but the scripting part makes no sense to me.

I might have used a hack or something once and forgot to remove it, usually hacks come with a .dll or two, sorry I got no-cd and hack mixed up :)

Like i said, those are models FROM THE GAME, all entities look like that ok, not just the trucks.

I have a hunch what it might be. I had a no-cd crack that came with some extra .dlls, I need a list of the .dlls that should be in the MOHAA folder along with the exe.


Those trucks are from the single player campaign on MOHAA :)

No, the map was made with the original AA builder.
My computer has plenty of ram and has a great graphics card...never seen this problem before.
