thats vis it is how moh calculates what the player can and cant see so if the player cant see it it wont render it. this is done to reduce the FPS the more architecture the longer vis compile will take some maps can take over 5 hours to do dependant n your computer spec. you can compile without vis ...

good to see with a little persistance you get results

normally when im trying something new in scripting ill just make a map that is a skybox with a ground texture ill then add the script objects etc. compile and test if it works ill then open the .map back up in radiant and select the items you ...

moddeling Tank?

i have modelled a tank i know want to get it working in mohaa/mohaas

i have looked in the Paks at the animation files i have looked in the tik and checked the skc files but cannot find one where there are tracks that move

any ideas

could someone send me the skd export plugin for lr3d i cant find it i made the model in MAX and exported as 3ds then imorted in lr3d i know need to be able to export it and any resource on animation in lightwave for mohaa would be usefull

dont give up send me the .map file and i will try to fix the errors im prety much a noob but have experienced these problems and got around them radiant can be rather annoying at times but you have to be persistent

v4 worked on 3ds max 2008? i tried but it didn't work i hae seen a tutorial on how to make static objects but none for guns im afraid.

im guessing there is no way to model in this version of max as i tried the skelout.dle witch didnt wor.

i recently installed spearhead and before this my custom sounds worked fine but now they are really low in volume and the radius you can hear them from

heres my script and this is exactly the same as i would do it on mohaa

i was wondering if it is possible to have the player throw a smoke grenade and have a plane bomb the spot (spearhead sp)

i have no idea where to start and could imagine it to be quite complex or not possible

i think so i am no expert on scripting this is more of a guess but if you were to spawn the brushes and script origin group them and give them the targetname and the correct texture. although they would be some complex brushes to spawn i think.

i am currently working on something but i wouldnt mind giving a hand every now and then with the script, although i dont have a ps1/2 anymore so you would have to tell me what to do. but i think its a real good idea and ill help as much as i can. :wink:
