OpenAssault is good, also Zweiter Weltkrieg, nah, most people won't even pronounce it correctly...
Medal of Freedom seems vague.
Call to Arms, Dogs of War, Days of Glory... Looks like that magazine games :D

ANd of course, OpenAssault represents an idea, others don't.

So, for example.

I make an OMoHAA server, then only OMoHAA players would be able to join?

In the other hand, if I make an MoHAA server, only MoHAA players will be able to join!

You also can do it using a rank system, kills based. I think it's more realist, as you can't actually steal money from the corpses.
It's true, that in war some soldiers won gratifications, but I don't know.
That reminds me a game called Soldier Of Fortune 2, but there was no rank system :cry:

How bout something like in CounterStrike that after you get killed it tells you stats like how much damage you've done to someone. Does that qualify as a wish?

That would be great, but I guess it would be good making the modifications to gameplay toggleable. Most players won't recompile their ...

There was many Total Modifications for MoH:AA. But now we're going to make a totally new game. Sweet!

By putting UIE I was suggesting kind of UIE, not Quake UIE strictly.

The skills of a player increase/decrease upon frags/deaths, e.g. if you kill someone with low skill you'll earn 1 kill, but killing someone with high skill would give you more than 1 frag PER kill.

Two things that I really like are already within the Quake Engine.
The display of player's id in scores, and bots.

As of ioquake, that didn't stopped yet. Their support is great, even better than EA's. Maybe with such project in MoHAA we could get more results, and a larger variety of mods.

We have the facilities to handle UTF8 internally (keystrokes, etc.), but what's the point if there still would be no graphical representation. :? RitualFonts support only up to 255 characters. However, there's the FreeType font renderer, so UTF8 may be fully supported in OMoHAA-derivative games ...
