Okay guys, thanks a lot for the tips. Smart idea using the Select Inside function! :o

EDIT: I have another question, so I might've well put it in this thread. When I open a door from one side, it opens on me and pushes me back. Any ideas?

Thank you once again :)

Is it possible to...

Is it possible to select everything at once in one map, and put it into another map? I'm currently working on a map, and I want to put my house (the map I want to import) into the main map with the roads/trees etc. Thank you in advance. :)

EDIT: Never mind. I've found this great thing called ...

Okay, thanks for your help. Let's hope this works :D

EDIT: Nope, it didn't work. Tell me the command if you happen to remember it :)
EDIT2: Thanks for suggesting to me to get a hex editor - I found the texture I want (which was misc_outside/subpen_water2). Thank you jv! :)

Texturing question

Hey,

I was wondering if there was some sort of way to find out what textures a map uses. This would be useful trying to find out the type of water a level uses.

If that's not possible, would you know what water texture Druckkammern uses? That would be handy for the water in my map.

Hopefully ...

You mean like the level Druckkammern? You could try looking in that map's script file?

In the Main Menu, when you make it so the buttons are like the original (rolling over doors to get to different game modes etc), where is 'Mods' gonna fit?

Well I'm not exactly what you'd call it, but it's that error with the Don't Send and Send Error Report buttons.

The map can be found here: https://map.moh-central.net/review.php?id=22
Oh, be aware that you'll need a Fileplanet account to download it.

Hmm..? Are you saying that I should be patient haha? Maybe I guess I could leave the computer on overnight if it starts to take FOREVER to compile.

Okay then. Thanks very much for the advice! I also tend to create a lot of maps that get unfinished, but most of them are experimental.

I'll probably get rid of some trees. I do use common/nodraw behind the hedges and trees btw. Also, another question. I downloaded this singleplayer map called Town ...

Should I consider using vis_leafgroups? But then I'd have to compile VIS and that takes ages.

Hey, I'm having a similar problem. There's a part in my map where if you run through it, the framerate will just drop. Should I delete some models?
