Most of the maps use weather.scr I think which does it pretty much randomly I think. I think you can set the value of level.wind to set it yourself though. Think its level.wind or something like that anyway, have to look in weather.scr :)

You can check where the leak is from within Radiant with the BSP menu too, select BSP_BSP I think it is and it will try to compile the map. Mine goes all wrong and says it can't find the shaders (probably something to do with the setup but I use a .BAT file for compiling anyway) when it gets part ...

If just one person was interested it was worth posting :) Mappings keeping me a bit busy too so I'd have a go but I'd probably write it better when I actually get to the stage of putting the decals into my map. I'm sure someone else will have figured out the settings you need before then and I'm not ...
