Tilting the big "boom boom" gun.

Currently i'm designing a casemate, containing 3 150mm guns (The german ones).

I want to casemate to be as accurate as it should be, with the dimesions used on the original 40-45 casemates.

The problem i'm having is that the gun-barrel is tilted to high to fit the bunker...

Is there any change on ...

To get an idea how a map with caulksky would look, type r_fastsky 1 in the console.
jv_map, that doesn't do anything in my map :?
Is there something i need to set first before it does anything?

Also, typing "cg_drawfps 1" does nothing, while it should bring up the frame rate :?

Well, i know it is hard to see in the shot, but i followed the ToS (Terms of Service???) and made the pic 600 width :wink: :wink: :wink:

AND, you are both correct :oops:
It is indeed "Blank Lightmap"

I found the Caulk, further below in the common section.

My question:
If you use Caulk for non ...

I took a screenshot from MoHRadiant where i loaded the same map as the previous screenshots...

So, is this the correct "Caulk" i'm using?

If it is, is that grey normal then?[/url]

Thanks Innkeeper.

In case anyone wants to know:
1" = 2,54 cm, so 12" is about 30 cm 8)

Scale of units.

Does anybody has an idea about the scale of units?

I ask this because i'm designing a commissioned map for someone, but it has to be (almost) on scale.

10 meters, how many units would that be?

Yes, that's the best you can do.

Brush-surfaces that can't be seen at a map should always have the Caulk texture.
Since that texture doesn't need to be calculated (it is drawn but it's pure grey) and pushes up the FPS.

Why don't you register?

Yes, yes, YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS....

Script error!!!

I checked my script 10 times, but always overlooked this little screw-up. :oops:
I apperently typed mg41 instead of mg42 :shock:

Okay, here is my final question :wink:
The spawned gunners always run for their mg and then they crouch.
This ...

Worldspam properties:
--------------------------
ambient = 30 30 30
ambientlight = 30 30 30
angle = 0
classname = worldspam
suncolor = 70 70 70
sundirection = 180

Nope, no targetname in there...

Don't worry, that is just a typo. I checked and it is indeed "$targetname".
So that's not it... What is wrong? I'm about to give up :cry:

BTW, it is properties, not proporties like i typed before.
English is not my primary language, so cut me some slack...

Well, the spawned gunner with spotter works in my map, with the help from jv_map...

http://users.pandora.be/stijn.colemont/moh/shot0001.jpg

Both guns have gunners and spotters.
If you don't have "fakebullets" or play in dog mode, they will kill you within seconds...

For getting natural light inside buildings, use these in worldspawn.
ambientlight = 20 20 20
ambient = 20 20 20

20 20 20 stands for the color of the light. Make it more or less like you want.

I have put some lights inside my bunker (red ones)
You can use some premade models.
