Yes, very nice job! I noticed you threw in the .map file with it and I was very surprised at the amount of patch mesh used. Those trees are really sweet! Great job!

Surface properties window? Does it work?

I am trying to make a texture I apply to patch mesh translucent that way the sun will not effect it and cast shadows. I select the patch mesh, apply the texture, open up the surface properties window and then apply the translucent characteristic. This does not seem to work. What is the point of ...

Ok, It seems I fixed both problems. The ghost shadows I could not figure out what they were so I redid all the patch mesh with that.

The Bushes had something wrong with the shader file. It seems they are working ocrrectly with the lighting.

One last thing...I think... that I think storm or balr ...

Thanks for the response seere, but I have already deleted the facets underneath it.
I have tried extending the road brush and making it structural and changing the sky textures to see if the light from them was effecting it all to no avail.

I think there is something wrong with the shader ...

Bush textures overbright, Patchmesh Ghost shadow!?

I am having a few problems I can't figure out...
In this first picture, there are these strange shadows that keep showing up on the patchmesh on the side of the road (bottom part of road in picture) I have moved the sun all around the sky and there is nothing there creating the shadow. I can't ...

It's not a reflection though. It's just an appearance of a reflection. Hence why it's a set picture such that you still see winter trees in windows of maps with no snow.

Sound speaker or script_model?

I am adding sounds into a map and debating if I should either use:

-a sound speaker, this will allow me to add all the info to the scr

-or use a script_model : I would then have to create a tik file for it

The sounds would be music from a radio, static radio etc

So which would be recommended ...

BoB mod: Anyone want to help?

I know I know, you are all probably like wasn't that canceled or how long is that going to take! I asked myself these same questions and dealt with the same frustrations! I am trying to get a team together to finish stuff up. Right now it is only myself trying to do the mapping but I am finding it ...

As we all know you can't satisfy everyone! Everyone has their different opinions on maps and things they want in them. The kind of map you might want may be way different then what I want. I personally like large maps that you can wonder around on and not run into a guy every second. That being the ...

To do that, in your script, do not place your code under round start. Write your code under the prespawn or spawn.

How many different textures are you using in your map?
I know you guys can make guesses as to what the mtex is but, if any one gets the chance, can they ask someone from EA what it is and how you improve it.
