thanks for taking a look,, I have sent a link to a single player map conversion, still working out some things with it, but have tried to add discriptions of what is going on.

i Will add the exec global/dmpreach.scr I added is modified, it now launches .. mam_preach.scr.. witch contains ...

found this on the serverlog,

Any SetCurrentTiki errors means that tiki wasn't prefetched and tiki-specific sounds for it won't work. To fix prefetch the tiki. Ignore if you don't use that tiki on this level.

the server log shows no errors, my game console shows the standard sound can not be found in urbersound or urberdialog.......

on a lan i hear the sounds when i host... but clients do not hear anything and recive urber errors...

Hi Everyone,

I have tried the new ubersound fix and added jvs sound.scr to global. Above wait til spawn i call for it to exec,....... no go!

We are running a dedicated AA server and trying to launch the training map as a multiplayer 3 ring pistol bash party. this lies on the out side of dm-obj ...

ok,

got it going, I wont even tell you what I did to try to launch it before, yes they all do launch, and i just tried to force it the wrong way. guess I enjoy the pain of making something so simple as hard a possible,,

yes, tried the spmap still no luck, i think what is happening is that the game is looking in the save game folder for a players saved version of the map, if you look in save folder you will see it re writes the bsp and this is what wants to be launched.

i have tried to launch a rescripted briefing1 ...

I can launch training map as well as credits, and void on a dedicated server,

I'm trying to launch some of the others as well with no luck, these maps seem to be locked yet lie on everyones machine, with some creative ...

I have a map I would like to add to our mixmap rotation, the rotation is set for 20 minutes for each map,

The new map I would like to add is filled with server info text and is unplayable, ... simply put.. a comercial. Anyway, it only needs to last 1 minute and 20 seconds then be switched to the ...

Hi all,

Well as some of you know I love to add things to the custom maps to make them more intreasting and more team based, so far I have had no trouble with lagg on any of my mods or projects, and most of them I spawn alot of stuff an write alot of scripts making the script extrmly large.

this will make the boat move but not ridable, if you spawn the boat solid,
theere is no way on or you will float on the bonderies,,

spawn it notsolid and then add a floor and four walls,

think as it moves the player also needs to be notsolid or he wont be able to pass threw some invisable map ...

looking at the above i see the origin x,y,z

now as far as giving it a size.. im confused on the two xyz sets ..

the lastone looks like a box of 340 long 150 wide and 120 high..
the first looks like the angles,, if the last is the size of the box .. what is with the first ..

could you give me an example of how to spawn one of these brushes ..

say the size is 300 long by 200 wide...

and it is used to stand on . if i have an example i could give it a shot and play a little with angels and such

but there seems to be bounderies on the spawnd object that wont allow a player to board,,this is the same i noticed for the uboat.. i would like to make it so they can walk on the deck .. iinstead they seem to walk on an ...

Thanks duck ... was not clear it was only working for SH... ibeen going nuts on AA trying to make it work. . to bad realy =LMAO= would have gone nuts . spawning in our uboat for up river sub attacks .. guess us aa freaks will just have to stick with the teleport
