Even if you didn't intend to make me sound like your hero, I'm gonna tell myself that you did. Thanks, man, I'm proud to be the one you admire. :D

Hmm...I only lurk occasionally now, but I figured that Sonsai deserves to be congratulated for his discovery. Yes, I realize this is a long dead thread, but hey, I post so rarely nowadays...

Hmmm... If I wasn't so lazy, I could upload about 5 maps to your "trashcan," but unfortunately I am that lazy.

Maybe I'll get real bored sometime and help you out. Actually, I'm positive I will send you at least 2 maps eventually. It's just a matter of time...

for realistic snow drifts on top of the bunkers:

use a patch mesh rather than just texturing the top white

Just a quick tip :D

Map looks good tho

no bad idea :(

autosaves give u valuable back up copies of your map

-to get rid of the messages, just save your map-for me the messages only occur when the map hasn't been saved yet

first, double check in radient to see if maybe one of the vertices is off a bit

-do this by selecting both meshes and pressing v

then, if there is nothing unaligned, just make a brush with a similar texture and add it behind the crack

hope that helps :D

Re: to all concerned....

just in case someone is wondering what the heck the "int" function does...
It interprets whatever is enclosed in double quotations as alpha numerical
strings and then converts the characters representing integer numbers into
a integer form.
So......using jv_maps example......
int("8" + "4") = 84 ...
