Think your any good at Spearhead?

No offense taken. It seems to be the same problem as The Hunt objective map. The first 30 seconds when a round starts have bad pings for all users. The map completely lags. I think it has to be something like when there are lots of players, if there is a long street like the The Hunt, then MOHAA has ...

FPS and server lag

Are FPS and server lag related? With 20 people running between 60-100 FPS on my map, the ping rate goes right down. But once a few people have died and the numbers are about 10 or less, the ping is back to normal, but FPS is still the same? Any ideas?

I have a few flat area's in my map, if I replace the near flat LOD with a brush, will this speed the map up?

I have a map that I have made, it is quite large and when it is played with 10 or so players, it is fine as an online game. But when there are 20 players on it, the server really lags. It is similar to The Hunt in lag but worst. Does anyone know how I can get the server lag down with the map without ...

I find them under Static/Furniture then there are about 3 clocks. It seems that when I start a new server, it sets the time at 3 oclock. If the server has been running awhile and had gone through several maps, the time is still constant. It must be reading a time or clock from somewhere.

Clocks

I have noticed that the clocks in the game actually have hands that change over time. Is it possible to set the clocks to the server time? This would be a really nice feature on the late night DM's. You could actually read the time and no that you have stayed awake for far to long.

LOD Texturing question

I read in another post that LOD can only have one texture. My question is, how then did they create Omaha beach with holes from explosions that have a different texture? I would like to an this sort of thing to my maps. Can anyone help?

I have seen the MP tut's for Exploders. In them, they always use the Flak Cannon Objective. The flak cannon in all of these is walkthroughable. I need my door to be solid. Someone please help as I have spent so much time on this!

This should be simple but does not work for me. All I want is:
1 Door to blow up with an explosive charge in MP as an objective.
I can create the door as an objective and blow it up with a charge, but I can walk through the door before destroying it. I have tried all the different Flak destroying ...
