well, since you mentioned it, i had an arched window [breakable if it matters] in the map, overlooking the main lobby. it was like a side ways 'D' shape

yeah, i tried to rename the .bak and load it, it was identical to the .map. i also working on the .map and .bak for more than an hour trying to fix the saved file [the error said expect "(" on line 264] i mean it's weird because everything was there, it just couldn't load it because of that error in ...

well i can't say i've ever had a problem using mbuilder to compile, either way this is what i have my mbuilder setup to compile...

"F:\mohaa\SDK\tools\Q3map.exe" -gamedir F:\mohaa F:\mohaa\main\maps\map.map
pause
"F:\mohaa\SDK\tools\Q3map.exe" -vis -gamedir F:\mohaa F:\mohaa\main\maps\map.map ...

should be a problem as far as ui goes. most of the time it's just good practice to diagnose errors given while compiling, although sometimes, if it's not going to affect gameplay, i really don't see a problem with ignoring them. hope i could be of some assistance.

what are you using to compile the map? for some reason when i compile maps using radiants bsp menu commands that always happens, and for the longest time i couldn't figure out how to make a working door either, and it was all because i was compiling with radiant, you might want to check out mbuilder ...

i tried sunblock as the door texture, problem is if i make a brush above the door [it's really more of a roof] then it always blocks the sun out, i need something to move with the door, and does anyone know how to, or if it's possible to, make a brush that moves with the door, because i can very ...
