red ambient Light

Hello all, I have been workin on a map, and after I compile it, the ambient light is red, like lookin thru night vision googles, but in red, anyone know about this and how to fix it? thanks all

I thought land sharking could only be done in older mohaa maps? can they do it in spearhead? I haven t seen any, but have heard about wall hacks, where folks run behind the walls, sound familier? How would one prevent this in custom maps?

Thanks for the info folks, so to see if Im get this right, deleting the walls won t do anything right? they re a pain for sure, now all I gotta do is learn how to use the clipping tools,lol

Yippers, its the size of the grid, but it goes vertically straight up and down, and is also as wide as the the grid as well, always uses the caulk texture, just started happening recently. Thanks for the replies.

a caulk wall in my map

Hey all, anyone know what this is? I have a wall, bout 1 unit thick and it runs the whole length of the grid, and same with the hight, it just appears when I load radiant. thanking all in advance.

Hey Grb, Thats a cool ideal bout gettn stuff from stock maps, never thought of it, Im not really lookin for pre made towns as such, but I am intrested in real towns, how they look and are done up, and jus recreate it in Radiant. Anyone know what Max_Surface_Info error message means?

I get it when I compile using Mbuilder in the comand prompt, and I have done up a quick test map using the algiers texture set, added a light and player start, and I still get the errors in the command prompt, as well it won t make a .bsp file, any help would be appreciated, thankin all in advance ...

I have gone thru the Mbuilder command prompt and, I have 2,
1. Max Surface Info (I have also gone and done up a quick test map, used 3 textures from the algiers package, added the light and player start, and I still get the Max_Surface_Info error,any ideals?)

MBuilder Compiling error
