yep, a new texture but still using the old image files

2nd, wehrpass, there's no transparency support in the corresponding shader, that's why
Also, what parts of the model should become transparent?

If you did sth like the following based on that largestream, it won't move, bacause there's no command to do so. Of course you must use this new texture, the stock largestream won't change

Indepth knowledge of all the shader commands u can find in th Q3 Shader Manual textures/richtea/sinkwater ...

1st you got to choose the liquid that suits u the most, e.g. canal_sludge

2nd, in radiant u can find that canal_sludge is in folder misc_outside

3rd open pak0.pk3

4th enter folder scripts and find misc_outside .shader and copy it to your desktop

5th open this file with Notepad (I personally ...

jupp, u will have to decide on whether it'll be the right scale or the right feel. In most Egoshooters u have a rather distorted FOV to compensate the fact that u can't easily move ur eyes from side to side.
For a good start, u'll have to try out different dimensions or find and take appropriate ...

Should be something like a row of fence posts, roof beams, staves of a ladder, where (too) many vertices of these brushes sit on a long edge of another.

To avoid a complete map loss due to crashes or whatever, I have checked "Autosave" and "Snapshots" in Radiant's Preferences. This way, I always have several backups of my maps (which should be deleted manually from time to time)

One more tip I didn't mention:
In case u do not want or u can't ( :? ) get such a log-file, u should check the "Pause after BSP" in the "Other Options".
This way u can study BSP's output before VIS starts and there u'll probably find the reason why there's no new bsp file written.

In MBuilder, BSP options enter >moh.log This ought to write a logfile of the bsp part. Find that file and post its content here. The file should be in the Map Source Directory, else do a search for it.

MBuilder/Other Options try setting Gametype to Single Player. 'FFA' there causes some problems ...

legally u wont get a 3dsmax version (even demo) without registration.

I'd take a close look on Blender, which is almost as powerful as 3dmax and which is Open Source (free to d/l & use)

I didn't see that he's a modeller. I didn't read all of Ulf's threads though. On the other hand, if he was a modeller, why would he need someone else to make his new models? :?

Anyway, I just wanted to state, that changing textures would be way easier than creating completely new models and that ...

No idea about differences to the other Divisions. :?
But couldn't you take existing models and just change their textures? That should be rather simple supposing u got pictures of those 4th ID soldiers...

Textures to change would be in Pak2.pk3/textures/models/human/...
