I havent inserted any light sources, apart from the sun on my map. Still it all shows up, without shades.

I dont have any light beams or anything but my map is all lit up, no shades and no dark spots, wot do I have to do to have shades? I know how to make lights and everything.

To do pipes do can you find them as a model or you have to brush them.
Same for crates, and if so wot sizes should the brushes be?

Hey fellas.

Im doing a map with a factory and a road. I want it to be sunny outside and I know how to do the sky, sun and beams.
How can I make:
The outside look natural.
And the interior of the factory like V2.

And also, wot sizes should crates be, they are made of brushes rite?

I suggest u make sure u get a MOHAA skin, not SH and make sure you dont have more than 1 brushes in a place, like try to select the roof brush and click delete. Try to run your map from SH as well.

crate this model in a 3D Program, not just from brushes, then compare it to another SH one and copy and modify the properties.

Well, wot I do is make a LOD Terrain the size of the hole and model it to look like a hole, then I select the top bit and texture it with the hole texture.
