hrmmm....well how could i make an object (my door) fit in an area of my choice? that way i wont have to worry about my door fitting perfectly and solve my problem of the hight difference.

its funny cuz the way i built the map is that there is a player start next to a door and the door is gigantic (but it has to be that big in order to fit the whole door brush in without cuttin it off...ive gotta be professional here! HAHA) :D

well it wasnt on grid 1...its on grid 4 or something. i dont use the grid as a guide, i use the actual measurements when sizing. I just made the size of the door big enough to fit the whole brush without cutting any of the door off and it seems wayyyyyyyy to big and i dont know why.

Size difference

i just finished making a simple map and it seems that everything is HUGE!!! i made the door 128 high but it is 2-3 times bigger than whats really needed by my player. any help with this? thanks in advance :D

when i turned off the autoload...my lil room loaded nicely! i just had to go into the folders and click on it.....thank you so much!!

ive also be doing alot of reading on making maps and whatnot and it seems everyone has a different way of doing things and it gets to be confusing...i tried following the suggested setup on this site but its not really working (as you can see) can you maybe provide me with something??

there is a command that you can type to load a game thru the console...what is it? see what happens with me is that once its done compiling..it loads into mohaa and thats where i get the error and it freezes up on me

i tried renaming another .min file....it worked....but it froze it at the same spot and still cant get it to load properly. very fustrating when your learning :x

nope...no MAC...when i compiled it, it finished and started up MOHAA. got to the loading screen with the console up and amongst the mess in the console it said cannot find blah blah\first.MIN (first is what i named it)

im still trying to learn how to map, and following your all yout tut's (thanks!!!). I made my first room and everything and compiled it fine and went to load it but then said it couldnt find the .MIN file associated with my map. any help with this?? thanks
