Maybe you can look into the beta2 of vs2005 now available
http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/

vs2003 is good too but i'd look at the 2005 if i were you. Visit msdn regularly, they have free offers sometimes, that costs nothing to participate. To get it at an even lower price, well, you're on your ...

I can't agree more with Bjarne to have a good structure and no styles hard-coded.

As for having "understanding error-forgiving" browser, it only makes more people code the bad way if they learn by themselves and/or use crappy code as reference.

W3C is the way to go and all documentations are ...

As you told wacko, the problem is Frontpage. It makes code to be compatible with MS products, not compatible with W3C coding standards.

Using dreamweaver is already much better but to be 100% sure the code is ok, i always verify tags myself, never trusted editors on that. W3C recommends to stop ...

For installation, i have to disagree with you lizard.
I've done 2 Linux installations and both went without a problem.

First one was mandrake 8.1, boot on CD and install just like windows, even dual boot, very easy. Only thing i didn't like was to use the linux boot manager. Even after having ...

I'd be sceptical about this Ivan. This is a very specific thing so making a tutorial out of this, which might not be commonly used by a lot of people, would be some waste of time, imo. When you are at this point in your mapping, this is not a big problem to solve to add to your maps.

Maybe i'm ...

Maybe this has been tried but, i've been away for a while and missed many discussions, has this method been tested?

- loop each player;
- $player[local.variable].gotkill setthread yourkillcounterthread

Maybe waittill can't be used with player because it's waiting (blocking) , but using this sets ...

It would be nice to have acces to everything within a .map network: maps download, an interactive section for tutorials (like the rjukan site), etc. And a small contribution, i'm sure many members would donate, i would.

My question is: is there a hosting company that will offer unlimited space ...

- For the ambientlight, it's noted, i'll make some tests with skipping vis and i'll reduce my gamma, it's a little high.
- For the blue light, hehehe, i slightly suffer from color-blindness. But i pressed K and picked blue (0 0 255) so i'll have it adjusted by someone else maybe, as i've never been ...
