I have abd idea for a map which i might try when ive finished my
current project.

Its based on the famous war film the Dirty Dozen.

Basically its an Obj map where the allies have to
break into the back of a church to steal a load of gold, but only after
fighting their way through axis defences etc ...

Deleted brushes appearing on map after compile

Hi guys,

Im having a really weird probelm,
in the middle od building my map i added some crates and a few door
frames, i didnt like them so i have since deleted them, but no matter
what i try after a complie then a test run in spearhead the crates anddoor frames are still there. i can even walk ...

Hi,
the easest way ive found to know the orientation of your ladder is as
follows.
set your 2D map to top view (XY) then look at your map as you would a compass. (top = north, right = east, etc).
Then set your ladder angle to the way your are facing when your are

MOHRadiant 3D view problems

Hi guys,

Im having trouble with the 3D view in Radiant, Whenever I load my map
or move around my map with the camera all the brush textures go black.
To see any textures in detail I have to constantly resent my Texture view mode, ie: trilinear, bilinier etc.

Are there any options i can enable ...

Ok thnx ive grasped that little tip.

but id still like to know how to group the highlighted objects
together so that i could select them amongst a load of
other objects, if were to use the box highlight method
you suggested then im at risk of selecting things i dont want.

any ideas are obviously ...

Grouping mutliple shapes or textures

Hi

me again ... i am think im sure of it now

can any1 tell me how to group the currently selected texture faces
or whole shapes so that i can easliy select it again at a later time but
as 1 whole object, that way it would be easire to move say
a house or something, doors windows n all.

elevating the camera in 3d preview window???

Hi,

as the title suggests im a bit stuck on how to elevate the camera
in 3d preview window, i can tilt the camera etc, but i want to select
some texture surfaces that are above the line of sight of my camera.
could some1 be kind enough to tell me how to do it, ive read the
radiant tuts but i cant ...

Problems with floor sounds

Hi can some plz tell me how to apply sounds to
surfaces other than wood (wood is the default sound )
If i create a room with a wood floor the sound works fine when i move around (i get a foot on wood sound)
But when i create a floor made of wood or steal etc i get no sound
at all when moving around ...

Sorry guys,
my mistake I think this prob is because im tryin to load the map in MOH when its been made with the Spearhead SDK, ive loaded the map
manually in SH and it works fine

MBUILDER for spearhead

HI guys,

just a thought has any1 thought of rewriting MBuilder
so that it can load spearhead after a compile instead of MOH.
I ask this coz the maps im learning to make wont load in MOH.
ive tried changing the load comand in the console window on MBuilder
from MOHAA.exe to MOH_spearhead.exe but ...

custom map loading error

PLZ PLZ help.

Ive made a room in radiant from the starter tutorial,
ive complied it as instructed manually and with mbuilder
the map compiles but when it trys to load in
MOHAA i get this error in console

LOCALIZATION ERROR: 'MAHAA Console' does not have a localization entry

does any1 know how to ...
