Thanks, all.
Von and I are putting forth our best effort and using all of our skills to make this as playable and enjoyable as possible.
We are not cutting any corners, and that adds time, but it is definately worth it.
I am lucky, because I get to see the levels evolve firsthand by being in them ...

Thankyou seere. We've been working hard on this for a long time. It's nice to hear you say that.

We are now in the process of doing final compiles on all the maps, and I am fixing a lighting error we found after a compile of Autumn.
Von is at work scripting the last of the Part I levels, and he's ...

Alsace: DON....MoHAA Single Player campaign almost ready!

It has been a long while since I have posted about the campaign here.
Vonderbakluft and I have been working hard on it, and after several major setbacks, we have managed to nearly complete Part I of Alsace: Defeating Operation Nordwind

Part I starts in the autumn of 1944, with the Allies ...

The conventional MoHAA Uninstall does not completely remove MoHAA.
There are still registry entries after an uninstall that need to be deleted.
If they are not deleted, a reinstall will not work.
You need to open your registry editor and search for MoHAA and Medal of Honor Allied Assault and ...

Ahemmmm.....
I see in a very early post in this thread that I gave k/v pairs for lightgrid settings.......
They didn't work.
But, I see now, that I gave the wrong settings.

The ightgrid/512 should have been lightgrid/512 512 512

You need all three values for it to ...

I remember this kind of fog thing a while back.

Don't ask me why, but for some reason on a large brush, the fog at the far end of the farplane translates itself to the near end of the brush.

For that reason, I try to make any brushes in sections. (This will happen on Patch Meshes as well, if they ...

For a .jpg loading image, you don't need the map $whiteimage or the blendFunc... lines.

You are better off removing them entirely.

That looks like a MAX_POINTS_ON_WINDING error.
It is caused when too many brushes contact one brush, exceeding the vertex-per-face count allowed.

The floor brush(es) contacting your small wall pieces need to be divided into sections, 3 or 4 should do it, so that only 1/4 to 1/3 of those wall ...

OK Evil.......since this is your first post, we'll let you get away with that one. :)
Welcome to .Map.
First, you need to be sure that each is a func_ladder.
Then you need to be sure that ONLY the ladder you want to change is selected.

I can do it on the VonderCrunch forum, Nemesis' page, Alliedassault.us, Uberclan........to name a few.
It is a simple code, similar to what jv_map posted, except I do not need to separate images. I can resize the large image directly on the forum page, and link it to a larger image.

Here's an ...

Resizing images as links.

Hello and how is everyone?

Just a quick q....I have been at .Map for quite some time, and have yet to
figure this out.

In almost any other site I post to, I can create a thumbnail image in a post that you can click to enlarge. At this forum, I have been unsuccessful, either with html or ubbc ...

Have no fear. Nothing but that room is drawn while in that room.
I do not offhand know the FPS in that room, but I can assure you it will be playable. :)
Most of what you see is brushes, and the polycount is comparably low.
BTW.....sorry for the extreme size of the images....I did not resize them ...
