you can?t steal any ideas from me, because i need no idea to spawn an object
please read some tutorials about scripting and how to create a script.

i mean by hand, that i have write all things by hand to the script, not with a tool that creates the code for me ...

there are funny ways to create it, but i have no automatic generation tool for it, it was hard work by hand :-)

i hope that it takes the great job of jv_map into a new area in the future.
i love the bots :oops:

at the time i do next addon with the hunt (80% ready ...

but thats not the way i use for it, i can?t get succes with your way Krane.
i use a decompiled map too, but generate the pth with an other way as yours. its easy to add all things in mohradiant but a long and hard work to kill all errors at pathnode mesh and add the things that bots need ...

what should i say, the botmap works same as other botmaps, but the player do not need the addon files :?

isn?t it right with the name jv_bot01.zip
it is the same as all other files from jv_map

i name it Player-files for no mappers, that have no knowledge about botmaps

no not in the bsp. there are only to files to get it workable with bots, a pathfile and a new mapscript, thats all. (_precache too)

there are some differences between usual build botmaps:
- weight option does not work correct by setting up at the tests
- the bots not follow the players ...

i found the error why they are not running, it comes with the server slot 1, if there is no player given slot 1 the bots not running, i reconnect and reconnect, then i get the 1 and the bots run over the map (same problem with other botmaps)

hm, its a new error, in my tests ...

hi all
i build a v2 bot addon and it is finished.
it works fine, but now on our testserver we have some trouble with all botmaps, the bots spawn at his position and then do nothing. they do not attack the player or other bots, i can kill them and they respawn and stand stand stand

i think i need ...

ok thank you.
yes i have placed a gamemessage that the jv_bot01.pk3 is required.
i have named the gametypestring to jv_bot01 with the mapscript, so the players can see it in the serverlist.
i hope thats enough for the players and nobody get angry with the server who?s playing this mod.
