first, welcome to .map!

1) spawns

First make sure you copied entdefs.pk3 to main

Right click on the 2d view in Radiant, select info and navigate to axis and allied spawns. they'll be labelled 'allies', 'axis', 'deathmatch', and 'intermission'.

2) .pk3 creation

A. Navigate to main/maps, Find all the files that have your map's name, copy them to the desktop somewhere.
B. Create new folders on your desktop, make a 'maps' and 'dm' (or 'obj', if your map is objective) folder on the desktop.
C. Put the files in the 'dm' folder, then put the 'dm' into the 'maps'.
D. Open PakScape and copy/paste your folders into a new .pk3 and save

for testing, you should remove your maps folder from main and put the .pk3 in it's place, to make sure your map is still accessible.

3) loadingscreen

you know, i've never actually made one. So i can't help you :P

Thanx for the welcome........
I have done the same as u said above for placing allied and axis spawning areas. but when i compiled and loaded the map in Mohaa crashed to the main menu and the log file says no player spawning or some thing like that....
why?
Next which files are necessory to be placed in the .pk3 folder.
(since 5 or 6 files are created by moharadient)
...........

All maps must have at least one info_player_start even MP maps .

make sure your spawns are not intersecting with solid brushes - like to low in the ground.

That will block your spawns

ok i have a question, if i want to make my map FFA as well as TDM do i need to add indipendant spawns for both modes, like can i run it FFA with the spawns setup as axies/allies or do i need to create seperate deathmatch spawns for FFA mode.

i already have it setup as a FFA map but what i really wanna know is do i have to replace the spawns with axies/allies spawns, or just add the axies/allies spawns

thanks in advance.

Yes, add more spawn points -- they are not interchangeable. The FFA spawn points can be placed anywhere as long as they can't be seen by each other. The Axis and Allied points should be placed, in groups, on opposite sides of the map.
