Here's one thing we can do right away--

The first ever Gaming Against Cancer Weekend is nearly here.
The first event will be held between the 5th until the 7th of October.
The premise behind the event is a simple one. Were server admins / owners are asked to change the name of there servers to "Gaming Against Cancer .Com". This will hopefully get gamers into there site were they can read about Cancer research along with other gamers.
You can even submit a link to your local Cancer Charity in the hope that others will donate to them.
The Gaming Against Cancer site does not accept any donations. However it does ask that you take a little time to look for your local or national charities and maybe if you can't afford a cash donation then you may be able to donate some time to help out.

Cancer will affect most of us at some point in our lives. But massive strides have been taken to raise the survival rate.
So please take part and show your support.

If you've been around the GCC, BMR, DDA, and a few other forums you'll know that there have been quite a few deaths lately and everyone's been a little teary eyed, but we're hoping that this sort of thing will lead to at least one of the few remaining uncured deadly dieseases out there to get the attention it needs to get a cure developed. Please support the cause if you run or just feel like hosting a sever for the weekend.
