Mohaa menu editor

Post by bdbodger »

This is a little menu editor I did for the Total Assult mod at MRU . It can load stock menus if you extract all the right files . It wasn't included and I can't see an update ever being released so I thought you might like to try it out . Your better off with menus created by this editor but can load other menus it's just that it is not as forgiving as mohaa is with menu errors . You start off with just a grey 320x240 menu and adjust the settings from there .Left click and drag to create a new menu item. You should know how to create a menu as well . I'll be around to answer questions though . Requires the .net framework 2.0

though i use pretty much nothing more than a white texture for my multiplayer menu, this is a good tool . possibly if it had been around, i wouldn't have gone the all white texture way . bd, you should submit this to medalofhonor.filefront.com .
i'm not f****** angry, i'm from philadelphia .

The splash screen should dissapear after a few seconds . Are you saying it doesn't do that for you ? I just ran it again from the zip and worked ok for me . You do have the .net framework 2.0 installed I assume . I can get you a version without the splash screen but I don't see why it isn't working for you .

A couple of shortcuts and tips for the editor .

If you hold down the alt key then drag outside of a menu item you can adjust it's size . You can also use the alt key and arrow keys .

Hold down the control key and you can select more than one menu item and drag them as a group or set the same value like the image .

When using .tga images with transparency set the alpha of the menu item background to 0

Lock an item with the right click menu and it can't be selected and you can drag over it to create new menu items .

Create a shader outside of the editor and add the shader to the textbox area of the menu . The image should load the next time you load your menu .

Editor only works with extracted images and loads I believe the first image of the shader in a multi stage shader .

Programs written in Visual Basic .net or C# etc are written based on a .net famework . Windows Vista comes with .net framework 3.0 for example . This program was written based on the .net framework 2.0 which you can get at this link .
