Playermodel list, name, titles and on screen messages gone??

Ok, so i got MoH:AA when it first came out, installed, uninstalled, and after about 6 months of being uninstalled, i decided to install it yesterday. Everything whent pretty fine until "insert disk 2" so i did, pressed OK and it froze, so i closed the setup. but if i put disk 1 in i could still play the game, but when i went to select a playermodel for multiplayer (picture shown) there is no writing, but if i click on the empty space, i can still get the model, everythings there, but i cant see it. On the multiplayer server list, where gametype, ping etc should be, theres nothing there, but yet again, i can click where it'd be and it works fine. on the actual multiplayer game, i can't see the onscreen messages like who killed who etc.

please help ,whats wrong?

First Reinstall
Then, I'd make sure you updated to the newest version of MOHAA, v1.11 and get a no-cd crack
