Catastrophic Failure

Post by mffpetergriffin »

I've done this before so now it's just annoying. I am trying to install a second copy of MOHAA on my machine. I did this a while ago but I took it off. When I insert the CD and click Install (or Uninstall for that matter) an error comes up saying "An installation support file could not be installed. Catastrophic failure."

What does this mean and why am I getting it. I uninstalled the second (clean) copy yet I still had an EA GAMES folder with some MOHAA files in it. The copy I use to play is in an entirely different folder and works just fine. So I deleted the EA GAMES folder and nothing helped.

GRRRRRR!

I'm guessing your disc is either damaged or it has a strange way of saying you have a MOHAA game already installed. I wonder why you can't just copy your existing MOHAA game? (click the folder, press CTRL+C, paste it and rename it to something classic instead of 'Copy of MOHAA')
