Ladder position blocked by a solid object

[Contex]

I've done exactly what you told me to:

I used caluk, the brush that is green and pink?
Then i copied it, and gave this one a texutre.
Then I made the ladder trigger, the ladder brush right?
Then I selected teh calk stuff and the ladder trigger and right clicked and choosed func/ladder, hit n, choosed my angle, and then i hit enter and deselected everything.

And saved and recompiled.

But i STILL can't get it to work, what am I doing wrong? Should I try make an elevator insted?
