The same server? I hope those replacements didn't cost you much, because it's not you. Maybe you should have wondered what if it was the server's problem. Because your story tells me that the server has slowed down not you.

no the replacement of this stuff didnt cost me anything...it was their problem to replace...but i tried a couple other servers last night and even tried looking at the gamespy list and refreshed a bunc servers and its doing it on every server not just the one i always play on....now i can ping the servers ip's fine but i cant do a trace route to anywhere except my default domain.....i open cmd prompt and tyr tracert yahoo.com or anything like that and all i get is timed out...i can ping but not tracert anywhere....i was thinking maybe someone else around me is using there cable to download or something but i dont know....cant figure it out though

I don't know about tracing but if in other servers, your ping is fine then it's that particular server that's being slow and not you.

download NeoTrace and do a trace route to the servers ip.I had the same problem with my isp and went nuts trying to find out why until some1 suggested what i am suggesting to you...i then found out my isp has re-routed me and from just one state to the servers state which was texas (only a couple states away from my location) i now had 18 hops which is ridiculous.
