How Do You Create Trap Doors?

Post by HandyTech »

When you create a rotating door, you cannot (least as far as I know, create a door that opens downwards in motion. So, the door would open through the floor. Rotating doors only allow for ration on the Z axis far as I know, is this true? Can you make a door that opens on the Y axis? I created a door with the origin on the Y axis and right-clicked on the door brush, then selected rotating door. It opens, but not vertically. Any ideas?

That's a script command. Won't be of any use to you unless you have a map script.

The values -1 and -2 for the "angle" key stand for vertical rotation, although I can't remember exactly around which axis or in which direction. Experiment with it.
