radiosity lighting

Post by dude77 »

sometimes when i make a new map while its loading it loads something called radiosity lighting, i dont know why, its just there some maps and not there on others. does anyone know how to rid of it or how it gets there in the first place because it makes maps take ages to compile!!
thanks

It might depend on how many objects the light needs to "bounce" off of. It might have to do with the type of lighting being used. It might have something to do with your hardware too. Slow processors, especially single cores and the amount of ram you have all play in here.

I had problems with radiosity lighting and just keep it off now. Set your light options to -bounce 0 in Mohaa Builder if you wish to turn it off.
