Level variables and exec thread calling

Post by TSF_Puckeye »

Hi guys,

In an effort to simplify the scripts we have and make sure we don't have the same threads repeated all over the place I want to group them in a single global thread script file.

What I'm wondering, before I'm too far into this, does level. variables carry over to the exec path/to/globalscript.scr::threadX ?

For exemple we have a thread that starts a round of artillery explosions, in the original script file we carry the location of all the coords in an array named level.exp_arr.

Do I need to reference that array to the exec thread or will the value be available to the external thread?

Many thanks for any input.

Ok thanks Jv_map...

So basically I can just call exec path/toTscriptfile.scr::thread and all the level variables will be available to interact with. This is pretty nice :)
