Multiplayer script operator

Hi,

I tried find answer for my problem on internet, but I can't. So I create this topic.

I'm searching mohaa files, other "pk3", because I'm looking for script, that is supporting multiplayer mode. Well, It should service giving players weapons (good for selected skins and nations), right skins, team.. etc. The a'la "spawner", "multiplayer settings", I don't know how to call. Do you understand me? I believe to quickly answer.

My question is caused by wish to create new nation with own weapons, naturally skins etc. I'm going to change "multiplayer scripts". I think that is good idea. The game's authors must somehow it perform.

I'm not sure i understand your question fully, since you clearly auto-translated from your own language. Could you maybe try again, short, point for point?

Basically, through script, you want to give players certain weapons/ammo that they can pick up, specific to the player being allies/axis?

I'm not used a translator. I tried write the post myself and I sorry for any mistakes.

Well, I now describe my problem again.
If you have multiplayer options in moh menu, you can change skins. Next, when you join the game, you select team and weapon. Then the game/server take this information about your player, any variables, and spawn you with right weapon etc. I try find script, that is responsible for this process.

oh ok, i understand :D there are spawner scripts in pak0\global, but these are for singleplayer AI. In multiplayer, spawning players, and also even partially how objectives are handled is hardcoded, as far as i know. Not everything is 100% done by script, the script is only there to call for deeper methods/functions that are coded in mohaa.exe etc.

So I don't think you can actually ADD a faction at least not without modding lots of code yourself. But: you could of course CHANGE the axis vs allies skins+weapons into, like, Aliens vs Predator + different weapons. All of this is mainly modelling (and scripting to get the weapons/projectiles to act like you want them to). It would require a lot of work though, but you wouldn't actually need to worry about the multiplayer script. You can find most of the relevant models and scripts on pak0 and pak6 (global and models). Hope this answers your question?

Yes, it is answer for my question. But, are you sure, that the "multiplayer operator" is saved in mohaa.exe? I am therefore very sad, that aren't any scripts in pk3 folders.
However, I wonder how the developers added new nation in SH and in a BT patch(!). Did they update .exe file?
About your proposition on change skins and weapons, etc. I know. But I belived, that is any option to create new nation. It was to be the base to bigger mod.
In all, I am thinking, that yet nobody created any mod, which add new nation.

actually i think most functions are stored in the dll's. over at x-null.net they have modified the gamex86.dll for their reborn 1.12 patch. maybe they can answer your question.
