heres my problem, ive made a map and im ready to compile it, everything in the map is fine ive checked that but when i compile the .BSP file doesnt apear newhere on my system, ive searched and checked everywhere it just doesnt build. there is also a 2nd thing that shows me that it doesnt build in the MSDos promt it says at the bottom "0 files copyied of (mapname).BSP
ive set the directories on MBuilder to:
C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA in game directory
C:\PROGRA~1\MOHAAT~1 in compiler directory
C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA\MAIN\MAPS\DM in Map source directory
all the VIS BSP and LIGHT options are clear, and under other options it is set corectly (set as dm, tdm ect. and says +set developer 1 +set thereisnomonkey 1 +set cheats 1 +set ui_console 1)
I have already read the tutorial for MBuilder but i may have missed somthing out.

Most likely you have an error in your BSP process. Try this, start MBuilder, then click change on your BSP options. In the "set custom command line" textbox type "> bsp.txt" Now select a map and click build. When it is done it will have created a text file called "bsp.txt" in either your MBuilder direcotry, the directory where your maps are, or the directory where the compiler(q3map.exe) is. Find "bsp.txt" and open it. Look for a line that says \

************* Error ***************

Then look at the message bellow the line. Finally look in the forums, using the search feature, to see if any one has posted a topic about that error. If not post the error here in the forums and someone will hopefully tell you how to fix the error, or atleast what it means.

I hope this helps.

"0 copied" means it did not make a copy of your compiled BSP file to a game type folder--because you don't have the option set. But, the original BSP file should be in the folder where your .map file is. You can still copy and paste it into the maps/dm folder manually.

Nemisis has some good tutorials on setting up MBuilder:

My batch file settings look like this:

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\MOHAATOOLS\Q3map.exe" -gamedir C:\PROGRAM FILES\EAGAMES\MOHAA
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\MOHAATOOLS\Q3map.exe" -vis -fast -gamedir C:\PROGRAM FILES\EAGAMES\MOHAA
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\MOHAATOOLS\MOHlight.exe" -gamedir C:\PROGRAM FILES\EAGAMES\MOHAA
Copy "C:\PROGRAM FILES\EAGAMES\MOHAA\MAIN\MAPS\TLTRUDE\.bsp" C:\PROGRAM FILES\EAGAMES\MOHAA\main\maps

tltrude is the name of the folder where I keep my .map files and it is in the main/maps folder. As you can see, I also have it set to copy the BSP to the "maps" folder as well.
