Need help with mbuilder compile error

Post by ShOOtMe »

When compiling, I get "exceeded MAX_POINTS_ON_WINDING". What is this? Is there a tut listing and/or explaining compile errors?

You have too many vertices along the same axis. The limit is 64. Look for some structure you have repeated along one axis. It could be vertical or horizontal.

I have a single, tall, multi-level buildingin my map which I figure is the problem. I selected the entire structure, made selection detail, and figured that would cure the problem. It didn't help. How do I find the problem. All these problems........that's why I quit mapping RTCW. *SIGH*

You need to break the big brushes up into smaller brushes

Hmmmmmm.....I think I finally understand. I can have a wall, ceiling, or floor as long or wide as I want, but if it over X amount of grids in length I have to create it in panels instead of one large piece. Is that correct? What is the max gris length for a brush?
