Bear in mind the text might get unreadable - the game resizes your picture and it'll look poor on lower resolutions.

Yeah I'll try it our before hand but other than that? I guess I can cut out the gore. The picture was drawn by me.

i think the text will do just fine, there's good contrast. I do like the drawing in itself but i'm not sure if it would fit the map. (ya know, it's so 'Judge Dredd'-ish;)) but the colors are spot on with the red, white and black.
The character in the front is okay (a helmet would be cool tho), but perhaps you could draw one of the planes flying (or crashing down) in the back and use the same drawing style?

I assume you've scanned your drawing so I don't know if you're able to combine two seperate drawings somehow without overlapping too much of the original image. For something like a helmet, you could just draw it seperately and then scan it and paste it in (with photoshop or whatever).

I dunno, just a thought. But yeah, I'd cut out the gore and use some war elements.

I have decided that this will be the load screen. A few touch ups and reduction of gore. I'm gonna release this map so people can play it. It'll be beta, and I did apply a vis leaf group and a lort of people said it ran fine so screw it. There are glitches I admit but you'll have to deal if you wanna play a fun map like this one with your buds.

You will be forever finding the secrets. I'll post the download link when it's done compiling. Hope you like the load screen!

I like the concept...it's different from the standard 'take a screenshot of your map and throw it in' thing. NOT there's anything wrong with that.

It's nice to see some variation and anything that is artistic like this is cool. Persoanlly I'm trying the informative angle with some of my new ones...give the players the 'situation' briefing right from the loadscreen, kind of setup the map...i.e. my loadscreen from Tractor Works TOW, if you've seen it.
