In the FOG
I've tried applying the fog from the scr and I can't seem to get it to work. I'm getting kinda fed up with it. If someone could post exactly where it goes in the script and what it is it would really help me right now. THANK YOU.
I put mine after exec global/ambient.scr
but failed to get it to work.
$world farplane_color "0.752941 0.752941 0.752941"
level.fogplane = 3500
$world farplane level.fogplane

Your script should work,if its after waitTill prespawn.
The only thing I noticed is you have some spaces in this line
level.fogplane = 3500
maybe try removing the spaces ,level.fogplane=3500
I don't Know if this will make a difference or not.But it is the only difference that I can see from the one I am using.

Code: Select all
level.farplane = 2000.000000 //fog distance
$world farplane level.farplane
$world farplane_color (.333 .333 .333)- MPowell1944

To add fog via the Worldspawn function, use these 2 sets.
Farplane :
Key : farplane
Value : #
Farplane Color :
Key : farplane_color
Value : #
Much easier than using script, but would require recompiling if you were testing several different farplane values. That would be the case where applying farplane via the .scr file would come in handy.
